Following Uniserv, the largest private freight forwarder with a UK-based freight forwarding company, and RifLine, an Italian shipping company, two container shipping companies, respectively, there is a new case for container shipping companies to enter the container shipping market directly.

Allseas Global Logistics, a British shipping company, once launched a direct "China Xpress" service from China to the UK when the supply chain was tight. After 18 months of operation on this route, Allseas Global Logistics recently announced the formation of a joint venture, Allseas Shipping Company (ASC), with 1st Containers, a container services company under the parent company Allseas Global Group.
